Head's Weekly Review 05 06 2020

Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean.
Welcome back to the second half of term, this week, as well as dealing with the global pandemic, there has been a focus around the world on racial discrimination. The letter from the Headmaster, to our school community is shared in this week's Head's Weekly Review, and highlights that we must all be constantly vigilant to determine that discrimination has no place at Roedean.

Distance learning and activities have been continuing at Roedean this week. Several girls in Year 9 have been awarded their Humanities Diplomas, our congratulations go to them. Having had their cross-channel relay swim postponed until next year, two Year 12 girls, have decided to set themselves another challenge - and will be swimming the equivalent distance of the channel crossing along the Sussex coast over the course of a week. And, the PE department have launched our Virtual Sports Day, which will see the girls given various challenges and competitions that they can enter by sending in videos.

Read all these stories and more in this week's Head's Weekly Review.
