Head's Weekly Review 22 05 2020
Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean
We have reached the end of our first half-term as a virtual school and it has been brilliant to see how well everybody has adapted. This week, to mark 'Thank a Teacher' Day, the Year 7 girls put together a brilliant booklet thanking their teachers, including a brilliant rendition of 'Roedeanian Rhapsody'. We also launched our 'Virtual Open Day', hopefully a great inspiration, for any of you who may have future Roedeanians amongst your family and friends.
Congratulations go to two members of staff - Mrs Wu for her work with the Brighton and Hove Chinese School and UK Chinese Society, and Ms Peters, whose Roedean inspired book 'Anna at War' has won the Biblio-Buzz 2020, Alexandra Palace Children’s Book Schools Award.
In other news, our race to Roedean South Africa is going very well, and we have now reached Angola. Racing the other way, Roedean South Africa have made it to Cameroon. To find out which House is leading the way, read this week's Head's Weekly Review.
