School News
This week we are delighted to announce that Roedean has been shortlisted for a national 2019 TES Independent Schools' Award in recognition of our partnership with St Mark's Primary School. We can also now announce that Maria Paduroiu, who left this year and is now studying at Lancaster University won the 'Rising Star Award' in the Independent Schools' Awards. In other news, our girls have had incredible achievements on the sports field, with an athlete of the year award for Amelia K and Alex S reaching the speed skating world rankings amongst other successes.

This week we have also had enrichment opportunities across a wide range of areas. On Thursday, the Art Department held an animation workshop with Pingu's Will Hodge. A group of Year 12s (6.1) took part in the Senior Team Maths Challenge, this year held at Lancing College and four Year 7s (U3) competed in the Year 7 Kids' Lit Quiz on Tuesday.
