This week's Head's Review is a bumper issue to celebrate the end of the Autumn term - there's been so much going on this week it was impossible to fit it into the normal number of pages!
The week started with the Christmas Fair last Saturday, which raised an incredible £6,000, the Year 11 (U5) latin students fitted in a visit to the British Museum and the Sixth Form enjoyed a Charity Snow Ball in Keswick Hall. As well as these there were the usual Christmas celebrations such as a delicious Christmas Lunch and the Carol Service. But the highlight of the week was the House Panto competition, read the review to find out who won!
As well as all of these festive activities, the girls also had a busy time with more academic activities. Our Year 8 and Year 7 Kid's Lit Teams both went to the Kids' Lit Quiz National Final at the City of London School for Girls. Two girls held a meeting with the Catering Department to talk about how they can support making Roedean 'Greener' and the Year 8 and 9 Extra English classes wrote speeches on our responsibility to the future of the planet. And finally, our congratulations go to Lyla B-R in Year 7, who plays Princess Anne in the second series of Netflix series 'The Crown'!
