Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean

It is exciting to see how quickly the construction of the all-weather pitch is coming on, as can be seen in the photos in this review.  A Bronze Age pit has been excavated by some archaeologists on the site, and they discovered a small piece of shaped flint and a piece of antler.  On Monday most of Roedean’s woodwind and brass players took part in a fantastic masterclass with renowned Saxophonist Sarah Field.

We also welcomed 7 other schools to our annual swimming gala, all races went smoothly and were closely fought competitions.  Following on from last year’s successful Reading Project at St Mark’s in Whitehawk, a group of volunteers will be helping there each week.  We hope this regular practical support will make a real difference.
