Mark Adam Ltd. is a jewellery boutique founded and led by Old Roedeanian Charlotte Godfrey (née Roney, House 3, 1983-90) and her husband, Adam. With a focus on jewellery that combines the finest of British craftsmanship with innovative design and ethically-sourced materials, Mark Adam Ltd. offers bespoke pieces hand-crafted in-house by Adam alongside a collection of pieces from select European jewellery houses.

Having long had a keen interest in the creative arts, Charlotte pursued a Higher National Diploma in Precious Metals at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, going on to make jewellery and gain experience from some of the most prestigious workshops throughout the UK. Whilst working for international jewellery designer Stephen Webster, Charlotte met her now-husband and fellow goldsmith Adam.

With an extensive combined knowledge of jewellery manufacturing and retail, Charlotte and Adam went on to open their own jewellery boutique in Tunbridge Wells in 2003, Mark Adam Ltd. Located on the High Street, Mark Adam Ltd. houses Adam’s workshop, allowing them to provide quality handmade jewellery and cater for special commissions, as well as a selection of European jewellery brands in line with their manufacturing and design ethos, and commitment ethical sourcing.

Mark Adam Ltd. is now completing the next phase of its growth – the launch of their new online shop – which features a capsule collection of select pieces that perfectly reflect their brand. With a website and online shop created singlehandedly by Charlotte herself, the end result is a very personal and accurate reflection of Mark Adams Ltd.’s own unique character.
