School News
The Spring term ended in great style with our outstanding production of Cabaret, a huge congratulations to all of the cast and crew who transformed the Theatre into the Kit Kat Klub with an incredible set and transported us to 1930s Germany with exceptional performances. We are also delighted to have announced our new Prefect Team during Final Chapel on Friday, congratulations to our new co-Head Girls, Florence A and Eleanor F, both such excellent candidates that it was impossible to choose between the two of them. In other news, the final week of term also saw us welcome the third lamb to the Roedean Farm and the fantastic news that Jingxuan W in Yr 13 has been offered places to study Fashion and Textiles at four top international institutions – Parsons, Kingston, Chelsea and Central St Martins – congratulations Jingxuan.

The girls and staff also took the chance to support Mr Wood, Principal of Roedean Moira House and former Faculty Lead for Science at Roedean in his imminent cycle ride from Eastbourne to Lake Windermere by taking turns to clock up the miles on two exercise bikes in Reception. We are also sad to share the news that we also had to say goodbye this week to Ray Maulkin, who was the School organist and visiting music teacher at Roedean from 2011 until last November. Ray passed away last Saturday from cancer, our sympathies are with his wife, Kathryn, and his two sons at this time.
