We have returned to Roedean for the summer term to be greeted by simply glorious weather. The School is looking beautiful, with wonderfully manicured lawns and beds planted with spring flowers. Over the Easter break, 57 Roedean girls visited Naples. The group had an amazing time, with highlights including looking at the ruins of Herculaneum and Pompeii, as well as eating lots of delicious pizza and gelato! On Thursday the School held its third annual Staff-Student Netball tournament with joint teams of students and staff playing together. It was great fun, and everyone involved enjoyed playing, even though some of the teachers understanding of the game’s rules was a little rusty! Last week the School hosted two important events. The first was a visit from over fifty students and teachers from Roedean South Africa, who came to the School on Tuesday as part of a cultural tour of England. Years 8 and 9 were also treated to a fantastic talk from the Holocaust survivor, Dorit Oliver Wolff.
