The first half term of the year seems to have flown by, and the number of activities here at Roedean didn’t slow down in the last week! Last Friday, Year 12 enjoyed a wonderful formal dinner, with a specialist from Debrett’s on hand to teach them how to navigate complex social and business situations. On Thursday, the Year 7 girls took part in a workshop performance of The Fantastic Mr Fox, with each form group taking on a part of the story.
In other news, we finished the week off with a ‘Woolly Hat Day’ which raised over £500 in aid of Off The Fence, a local homeless charity. This week also saw the launch of our new Culture Society. This Society will give the girls a chance to explore all of the cultures represented in the School and they will plan ways to include all of the key cultural festivals into Assemblies and the Student Bulletin.
And finally, on Monday we had our House Dance competition, with a very high standard from every house, read this week’s Head’s Weekly Review to find out who won as well as other news from Roedean.
