Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean.

School News
Welcome to the first Head’s weekly review for the new academic year. There has been a real buzz of excitement and activity as many girls are welcomed back or to the school for the first time. The School continues to grow, and this year we have 620 girls in School, which is 66 more girls than last year.  To accommodate the increased numbers, there are additional members of both teaching and support staff, and there has also been a great deal of work done over the summer, including converting ‘Heaven’ (the top floor) in two boarding houses, and adding more dining rooms.

We would like to say a huge congratulations to all Roedean A Level and GCSE students on their outstanding results. We are delighted that 23.3% of all A Level grades have been awarded A*, our best results in a decade, and 48.2% of all GCSE grades at A* or its equivalent, the second highest percentage at this level in the School’s history.  We are thrilled that all the girls’ hard work has been worth it.
